Throughout the year, the County of San Diego Immunization Branch offers FREE immunization requirements trainings for school and childcare staff.

The trainings are geared toward teaching staff what the immunization requirements are for school and childcare entry, how to read immunization records, and then how to correctly transcribe the information from the immunization record onto the California School Immunization Record (blue card). Principals, directors, registrars, nurses, health technicians, and anyone who is charged with reading and transcribing immunization records are encouraged to attend.
