Katie and Craig Van Tornhout lost their baby to pertussis.  They are committed to preventing this tragedy from happening to other children and have been working diligently to get up to speed on the issue. They have agreed to partner with Every Child By Two (ECBT) Vaccinate Your Baby Campaign and their full story is on the ECBT website. Fox News Channel learned of the Van Tornhout’s story and are working to spread the word about the importance of postpartum and healthcare worker vaccinations. This story is excellent in that it offers very actionable steps to reduce the incidence of pertussis.
