Public Health Center Flu Immunization Clinic List 

The CDC recommends that people 6 months and older get vaccinated against the flu. For the 2011-2012 influenza season, the vaccine will be available at doctors’ offices, retail pharmacies and other locations around the County. Persons over 60 and others who do not have health insurance or a medical provider may get the flu vaccine at one of the County’s Public Health Centers' flu vaccination clinics. Please see the list below for the days, times and locations of the clinics.

Central Region Public Health Center 
5202 University Ave. in San Diego
Flu vaccine available on Mondays and Thursdays, except holidays, from 8-11 a.m. &s 1-3:30 p.m. No appointment needed.

East Region Public Health Center 
460 N. Magnolia Ave., Suite 110, in El Cajon 
Flu vaccine available during its regular immunization clinic, 
Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 8-11 a.m. & 1-4 p.m., 
and Thursday, 1-4 p.m., except holidays. No appointment needed.  
NOTE: Clinic will be closed on Dec. 23 and Dec. 30.

North Central Region Public Health Center
5055 Ruffin Road in Kearny Mesa 
Flu vaccine available on walk-in basis during regular immunization clinics, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed weekends and holidays.

Satellite Flu Immunization Clinic at Mission Bay High School
2475 Grand Ave. in Pacific Beach
Flu vaccine available on the 2^nd Tuesday of every month, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. No appointment needed. Once capacity is reached, which may be earlier than  the posted time, no further clients will be accepted.

North Coastal Region Public Health Center
104 S. Barnes St. in Oceanside
Flu vaccine available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to  4:30 p.m., and on Wednesday from 8 to 11:30 a.m., except holidays. No appointment needed.

Fallbrook Family Resource Center
130 E. Alvarado in Fallbrook
Flu vaccine available the second Monday of every month, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No appointment needed.

Solana Beach Presbyterian Church
120 Stevens Ave. in Solana Beach
Flu vaccine available the second Tuesday of every month, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment needed.

North Inland Region Public Health Center
606 E. Valley Parkway in Escondido
Flu vaccine on a walk-in basis on Mondays and Fridays, except holidays,  8 to 11 a.m. & 1 to 4 p.m.  No appointment needed.

Ramona Public Health Office
1521 Main St. in Ramona
Flu vaccine available the second Wednesday of every month from 1-3 p.m. No appointment needed.

Rancho Peñasquitos New Hope Church
10330 Carmel Mountain Road in Rancho Peñasquitos
Flu vaccine available the third Wednesday of every month,from 8:30 to 11 a.m.  No appointment needed.

South Region Public Health Center
690 Oxford Street in Chula Vista
Flu vaccine available during the regular immunization clinic hours: Monday and Wednesday through Friday, except holidays, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. &  1-3:30 p.m., and Tuesday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. & 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays.

Please be sure to call clinic before going to verify vaccine availability. Numbers for flu shots will be given out on a first come, first served basis. When the clinic reaches its capacity, no more numbers will be distributed for that day. Anyone without a number at that time will need to return for the next scheduled flu vaccine clinic.
