CDPH Tdap POLICY: Effective July 19, 1010

California Department of Public Health announced a new policy that supports the legal “off-label” use of Tdap while California faces what could be the worst year for pertussis in more than 50 years.

Reporting Pertussis Disease

• Physicians and other health care personnel are required to report confirmed and suspected cases of Pertussis within one day of identification. Discussion of reporting can be found at:
