Hey, Teens! Do you want to win $500?
What: Two Contests for the "Brief Me On HPV" campaign
Why: To help promote the importance of preventing HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) among young women. Most of the time HPV has no symptoms, so people do not know they have it. There are many different strains or types of HPV. Some types can cause cervical cancer in women, other kinds of cancer or genital warts in both men and women
How: The first contest is to create an original slogan and artwork about preventing HPV, which is suitable for printing on men's or women's clothing (like t-shirts, shorts and tank-tops). The winning artwork and slogan will be used on an item of clothing like a t-shirt and the artist whose work is chosen will win $500.
The second contest challenges people to "Refer A Friend" to enter the first contest. Each friend who enters the contest earns the referrer 1 point. The person with the highest point total wins $250!
Contests End: September 1, 2010.
Important Details: Anyone 13 or older can create artwork and slogans, or spread the word about the contest. But you have to be 18 years and older, and live in California, to be eligible to win. Also, one person can't win both contests.
